This notice explains how we handle your personal data when you visit yesmee.hu or yesmeeapp.com, sign up for the waitlist, or write to us. The Yesmee app will have its own detailed privacy notice when it launches.

2.2 What data do we process, why and for how long?

We do not ask for or process special categories of data (e.g. sexual orientation, health) on the website or the waitlist.
Joining the waitlist is voluntary. If you don't give us your email address, we can't tell you about the launch – there are no other consequences.
2.3 How does signing up work?
- You enter your email address and city.
- We send you a confirmation email. You are only added to the list if you click the button in that email (double opt-in).
- After that we send only a few emails: about the launch, about your city opening, and important news about Yesmee.
- You can unsubscribe with one click at the bottom of every email, or write to [email protected]. After you unsubscribe we delete your data; we keep only the fact of unsubscribing and a hash of your email address, so that we never write to you again by mistake.
2.4 Who has access to the data? (processors)
We do not sell your data and do not pass it on to anyone for advertising. To run the service we use the following providers, who may process the data only on our instructions:

2.5 Transfers outside the EU
Cloudflare and Google are US companies. Transfers to them are based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which both companies have joined, and on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Our servers, our database and the waitlist are located in the EU.
2.6 What are your rights?
- Access: you can ask what data we hold about you and request a copy.
- Rectification: you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: you can ask us to delete your data.
- Restriction: you can ask us, in certain cases, to only store your data but not use it.
- Portability: you can request the data you provided with your consent in a machine-readable format.
- Objection: you can object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdrawing consent: you can withdraw your consent (waitlist, Google Analytics) at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
Send your request to [email protected]. We reply within one month; in justified cases we may extend this by two months and will let you know. Fulfilling your request is free of charge. If we have doubts about your identity, we may ask for additional identification.
2.7 Where can you complain?
If you feel we have violated your rights, please write to us first – we'll try to resolve it quickly. 2.8 Data security
The website is available only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The database is not reachable from the internet, and access is logged and strictly limited. The server is protected by a firewall and intrusion prevention, and the system is updated regularly. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the authority as required by law, and you too if it poses a risk to you.
2.9 Minors
Yesmee is only for people aged 18 and over. People under 18 may not join the waitlist. If we learn that a minor has signed up, we delete their data.
2.10 Automated decision-making
We do not make automated decisions about you or create a profile of you on the website or the waitlist.
2.11 Changes
If this notice changes significantly, we will show it on the website and, if you have signed up, let you know by email. Previous versions are available on request.
